High court secretary, Andiswa Mengo has testified that the senior judge made insinuations referring to his private parts during conversations with the junior on WhatsApp.
JOHANNESBURG - The Judicial Conduct Tribunal investigating allegations of sexual harassment against Eastern Cape Judge President, Selby Mbenenge has heard how he allegedly made sexual suggestions to a junior staffer in the division.
In July 2021, Mengo allegedly asked the judge president the reason behind his decision to delete messages after he erased a series of texts he had sent to the complainant.The message reads, “Your child will be worried to learn that at some point you will encounter large nto.”
