Helena Bragg discovered she had won $1 million while running errands. ContributedST. JOHN'S, N.L. — Helena Bragg of St. John’s was on a routine shopping trip to pick up some wine and flowers when she found out she was a new millionaire.

Bragg had bought a Lotto 6/49 ticket for the July 6 draw and checked her ticket at a grocery store, Atlantic Lottery said in a release.Bragg had won a $1 million prize from the computer-generated Guaranteed Prize numbers on her ticket. She forgot to buy her flowers due to the excitement. Helena Bragg of St. John’s, N.L. was on a shopping trip to pick up some wine and flowers, but her ordinary errands became anything but when she learned she had won a $1-million Guaranteed Prize on the July 6 Lotto 6/49 draw.​
