The City of St. John’s and its municipal workers have ratified a new collective agreement that will see an increase in wages.
CUPE Local 569, which represents about 400 outdoor operations workers, announced Friday that a tentative agreement had been reached. The new four-year deal will see an 11 per cent increase in wages, raised incrementally each year. Employees will also see a $1,000 signing bonus.
