We are looking for a talented ServiceNow Developer to join our ITSM team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting the configuration, development, and integration of ServiceNow within our organization. They will have a strong understanding of ServiceNow development, architecture, and integration principles. Successful candidates will be able to work remotely but must align with South African business hours.
Collaboration with business and IT stakeholders will be essential to gather requirements and translate them into effective ServiceNow solutions. The role involves designing and developing ServiceNow applications, workflows, modules, forms, and scripts using a variety of technologies including JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and ServiceNow APIs. Customization and configuration of existing ServiceNow applications will also be a key responsibility, encompassing the creation of new modules, tables, UI pages, and scripting.Furthermore, the ServiceNow Developer will implement and maintain RESTful APIs, web services, and system integrations between ServiceNow and other enterprise applications (e.g., Active Directory, LDAP, monitoring tools). Strong documentation skills are required, including the creation of technical documentation (design specifications, user guides, release notes) and the provision of training to team members. The position also entails providing ongoing support, enhancements, and troubleshooting for existing ServiceNow applications and workflows. We are looking for an individual with expertise in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and ServiceNow APIs. Hands-on experience with RESTful APIs, web services, and external system integrations is highly desirable. The ideal candidate will possess strong problem-solving skills and be able to thrive in Agile environments
