The ideal candidate will possess a robust background in IT infrastructure, network management , and system administration . This role demands a proactive individual capable of taking ownership of their projects, collaborating with the IT Manager, troubleshooting intricate issues, and guiding junior team members. A strong desire to learn, adaptability to change, and a collaborative team spirit are essential.
The candidate must demonstrate the ability to follow instructions provided by the IT Manager. Furthermore, the individual should be prepared to extend working hours when necessary, including Saturdays once a month and remaining on standby for the remainder of the weekend. Core responsibilities encompass monitoring and maintaining network performance, security, and reliability. Leading IT projects from their inception to successful completion, ensuring timely delivery, is another vital aspect of this role. The ideal candidate will hold an Information Technology diploma or certificate in a relevant field and possess a minimum of 5 years of experience in IT Support or a comparable position. While proficiency in Linux Servers is advantageous, it is not mandatory. A strong understanding of Office 365, SharePoint (OneDrive), Exchange, and Licensing is essential. Familiarity with scripting languages such as Python or PowerShell, although not mandatory, would be highly beneficial. Experience with in-house application systems, including Excalibur, Ghost Practice, and Lexis Convey, is also valued. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, coupled with the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team, are crucial for success in this role
