In doing so, the 35-year-old also became just the third goalkeeper to be red carded in the history of the World Cup after South Africa's Itumeleng Khune against Uruguay in 2010 and Italy's Gianluca Pagliuca against Norway 16 years prior. 3 - Wayne Hennessey is only the third goalkeeper ever to receive a red card at the World Cup, after Itumeleng Khune for South Africa v Uruguay in 2010 and Gianluca Pagliuca for Italy v Norway in 1994.
