Belleville police report

Total calls for service – Belleville Police responded to 106 calls for service over a 24-hour period beginning at 5:00 am on May 08, 2023 to 5:00 am on May 09, 2023.On 08 May 2023 at 9:06 am police attended an address on Church St in regards to a theft of tools from a work truck.

On 08 May 2023 at 10:52 pm police received a call from a 60-year-old male who was in the Cannifton Rd area. The male was very agitated and was threatening to cause harm to people and property. Police attended the area, located the male and attempts were made to calm him down. The male became physically aggressive towards the officers and began threatening them. An officer subdued the male with the use of a Conducted Energy Weapon.
