Didi Bosawa successfully challenged Police Minister Bheki Cele in court after enduring a harrowing ordeal of kidnapping, assault and captivity by police officers.
The judgment, delivered by the Gauteng High Court in Johannesburg on 11 June, overturned a magistrate's previous decision, which had dismissed Bosawa's claim.
