South Africans took to social media on Wednesday to celebrate Bheki Cele reportedly losing his job as the Minister of Police.

Cele has been the South African Minister of Police since February 2018. He was also the National Commissioner of the South African Police Service for two years, until misconduct allegations led to his suspension in October 2011.SOUTH AFRICANS REACT: ‘THIS CALLS FOR A CELEBRATION’@ThamiGxamalazaa: “Now it’s time South Africa to have an honorable Minister of police who will deal decisively with crime.

The publication adds that Bheki Cele is joined by International Relations Minister Naledi Pandor, Defence Minister Thandi Modise, Social Development Minister Lindiwe Zulu who are also out. The publication adds that if President Cyril Ramaphosa is re-elected, only two ministers may be drafted from outside the National Assembly.Kodwa resigned after appearing in the Palm Ridge magistrate’s court on Wednesday morning. He appeared in court alongside director of Tactical Software Systems Jehan Mackay.
