Suspect in fatal shooting in Radisson Heights to stay locked up until his trial yyc yyccourts
Court of Queen’s Bench Justice Earl Wilson said defence counsel Adriano Iovinelli hadn’t established grounds to release Tarek Che Sharples on bail.
Emergency responders found a man, later identified as O’Leary, 39, in life-threatening condition. He died a short time later. At an earlier court appearance, Iovinelli raised the issued of self-defence, suggesting video surveillance evidence provided by investigators showed Sharples being shot at by the deceased.
