Driver, 65, was clocked at nearly twice the speed limit, OPP reports
A 65-year-old driver from Komoka, Ont., is facing a stunt driving charge, as well as other charges, after Nipissing West OPP reported clocking him at 130 km/h in a posted 70 km/h zone July 23.
The driver was caught on radar while travelling along Highway 69 in Burwash Township in a construction zone. So not only is the driver facing a racing a motor vehicle charge, the person has also been charged with speeding in a construction zone and speeding at more than 50 km/h over the limit.The accused was released on Provincial Summons' and is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Sudbury on Sept. 6.
