Get ready for a dose of love and laughter this Valentine's Day! South African rom-com 'Not My Type', starring Lorraine Moropa and Lulama Nyembezi, is set to premiere on Showmax on February 14th. The film follows Letsatsi (Moropa) and Thimothi (Nyembezi), two individuals who find themselves in a series of hilarious situations at a singles retreat, challenging their perceptions of love.

Seasoned theatre actor Moagi Kai is a part of the cast and stars as Mhlonishwa, a fellow Christian who Letsatsi believes is her answered prayer. Waldo and Becca end up at a wacky singles retreat in the mountains, fate keeps dumping them headfirst, together, into one crazy scenario after the other, forcing them to reexamine what they think they know about love.

Jandré le Roux is her boxing coach, while model Roche Killian plays her ex, Dries. Dries is getting married again – to a model. Two-time Silwerskerm winner and three-time SAFTA nominee Erica Wessels shows off her comedic side as Suma-Lee's boss in the movie. Annelize Frost makes her feature film directorial debut with the knockout Showmax Original romcom “Gebokste Liefde”. The movie is produced by Advantage Entertainment.
