Debris left on the road following protest action.Residents of Protea Glen in the south of Johannesburg took to streets to protest against the lack of water in the area. The protest started early on Wednesday, with residents saying they’ve been without water for over a week.
“It’s been nine days now without water, and we are struggling, they have been busy saying they will bring trucks and its harder for some of us who have toilets inside the house. We are also sick and we survive on treatment, now how are we going to drink treatment without water,” a community member said
