Modack and his 14 co-accused were back in the dock on Monday to account for the 122 charges they face related to various crimes, including the murder of top cop Charl Kinnear.
CAPE TOWN - The prosecution has slammed the alleged underworld gang boss, Nafiz Modack, for allegedly trying to mislead the court on Monday with fabricated evidence.
Sibda said Modack wanted to prove the pair had a corrupt relationship and presented the court with a list of pings that showed Booysen and Kinnear were at one particular location in Belhar for a period of time. After examining the list presented by Sibda the State said the list was"a total misrepresentation of evidence" which was manipulated in an attempt to mislead the court.
