“Strong and vibrant communities are the heart of where Canadians want to live, work and raise their families,” said Malpeque MP Heath MacDonald. “Reliable roads and community infrastructure are incredibly important to our towns and cities.”

On Friday, Aug. 12, Cory Deagle, P.E.I.’s minister of transportation and infrastructure, Rowan Caseley, mayor of Kensington, Bobby Morrissey, Egmont MP and Health MacDonald, Malpeque MP announced that the federal and provincial governments would be contributing $6.6 million each to repaving roads in rural P.E.I. - Kristin GardinerKENSINGTON, P.E.I. — Over the next year, the province will be repaving close to 99 kilometres of roads in more than 90 rural P.E.I. communities.
