The freeze on developments in buffer zones will remain in effect until the province implements its new shoreline protection policy based on UPEI recommendations, Myers said. "The moratorium is kind of too little, too late in terms of Point DeRoche," said Bryson Guptill, an active hiker and outspoken opponent of the development.
