Published: May. 9, 2024 at 1:48 AM EDTCLEVELAND, Ohio - Dreary weather has settled into Northeast Ohio as low pressure tracks across the southern part of the state. This has brought damp and cool conditions, which will last for a better part of the day. While no severe weather is expected, pockets of heavy rain could lead to ponding on roadways and local high water in low-lying or poor drainage areas.
By the evening, there will be breaks in the steady rainfall, but scattered light showers may linger. The rest of the overnight hours trend drier. Friday sees a mostly cloudy sky with scattered showers, so much of the day actually stays dry. It stays cool, however, with temperatures only near 60 degrees for the afternoon.Mother’s Day will actually be dry with some sunshine coming back. Afternoon temperatures climb to the mid 60s.
On Monday, expect a surge to the 70s with a couple showers possible, followed by more rain chances and cooler temperatures towards the middle of the work week.
