A 19 First Alert Weather Day is in effect Sunday afternoon and evening.
CLEVELAND, Ohio - After a damp and chilly Friday capped by a period of high winds, Saturday’s weather turns more decent overall. While a breeze lingers, the wind will not be nearly as strong as Friday. However, active weather returns on Sunday, and a 19 First Alert Weather Day is in effect for the potential for severe storms during the afternoon and evening as a cold front slides through.
Sunshine dominates throughout the rest of the day on Saturday as high temperatures climb to the upper 50s for the afternoon. The breeze will be between 15 and 25 mph from the west to northwest with occasional gusts in the 30 to 35 mph range. All in all, it is not terrible weather for a Guardians doubleheader versus the Yankees, with the first pitch of the first game at 12:10 p.m.
