Forecast on May 2, 2024CLEVELAND, Ohio - Sunshine remains in the forecast today as high pressure sits overhead. However, areas near and along the lakeshore will be cooler due to a lake breeze setting up. Except temperatures to hover in the 60s right along the lake but rise to the upper 70s to low 80s elsewhere.
The next system begins to approach the area tonight. The warm front associated with this system will be close enough that isolated showers hover around, mainly out west. A warmer night ahead with temperatures only falling to around 60 degrees. Cloud cover increases Friday morning with an isolated shower or two possible. Rain chances ramp up into the afternoon with high temperatures closing in on 80 degrees.The front will be slow to move through, so Saturday looks unsettled now with a cloudy sky and showers and thunderstorms in the area. More rain chances are in the forecast for Sunday, but they will be scattered, meaning plenty of dry time can still be had to enjoy the weekend.
