The Prince George Pikes was launched by Engage Sport North at the Prince George Aquatic Centre and offers introductory and competitive diving to participants of all ages.

The Prince George Pikes is a new diving club that sees two seven-week programs already at full capacity now with expanded programming available in the spring for those wishing to join.

Engage Sport North believes in delivering inclusive quality programs in physical literacy, sport participation, and high-performance sport across Northern BC. “There are so many benefits to diving,” Tim Joyce, Prince George Pikes coach, said. “Physical fitness is a large part of diving, and there is also a large mental component that helps with mental health and focus. On the diving board, you have something to strive for, and you’re really up against yourself.”
