Right now, the Reimer family, including mom Megan, dad Justin and little brother Reid are stuck down south awaiting Ethan’s surgery that has been delayed due to an overloaded hospital. “My hope for this fundraiser is to help the Reimers with the cost of travel, stay and food,” McDowell said in her plea on the Gofundme page. “I want them to see that there is a whole community behind them during these stressful times. This family deserves all the support we can give them. They are kind, thoughtful and giving. It’s time for them to receive some love and support from us.”
