A 49-year-old has been released from the hospital after he was injured in what the RNC believes was a targeted shooting on Gilbert Street in St. John's on Saturday morning.

Police believe a red Honda Civic, which was found in the area of LeMarchant Road a short time later, was involved in the incident.RNC is seeking witnesses or anyone with video footage in the area around the time of the shooting to call the RNC at 709-729-8000 or tip anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
