Organizers of the annual Tely 10 road race in St. John’s made the right call in deciding to hold this year’s event on Oct. 8 rather than during July’s scorching heat. It’s the second year in a row the race date was moved — last year’s race was Oct. 31 — and holding the run in July could well be a thing of the past.
