As part of an ongoing drug investigation by RCMP-RNC Joint Forces Operation West , 33-year-old Ryan Hampton was arrested at a traffic stop in Corner Brook on Wednesday, Jan. 25.CORNER BROOK, N.L. — Police arrested a 33-year-old man just hours after his release from court Wednesday following a drug investigation in Corner Brook.
Officers with joint Royal Canadian Mounted Police and Royal Newfoundland Constabulary drug unit on Newfoundland's west coast stopped a vehicle and arrested Ryan Hampton at the scene. Police said Hampton, who had been released from provincial court in Corner Brook earlier in the day, was found in possession of a controlled substance, placing him in breach of his court release order.
He was scheduled to attend court Thursday, charged with possession of a controlled substance and breach of his court release order.
