Judge Marc Chisholm accepted the pleas and scheduled Clarke’s sentencing for March 23. He directed him to co-operate in the preparation of a presentence report. The Crown agreed to Clarke’s release July 18 on a $500 bail order with one surety. He was ordered to have no contact with the complainant or her family and not be within 50 metres of them or the park.
The woman said she was in a group of 12 people camping at the park. “Right before we go to bed, a baby started to cry, which is completely normal,” she said.
