The L2 Server Administrator actively manages and supports various server environments, including setting up and maintaining security rights and access permissions. This role contributes to technical strategy, policies, and procedures for Operational Technology (OT). Progress and any issues are reported to both management and users. The L2 Server Administrator tackles cross-functional technical issues and actively participates in risk management. Maximizing system availability and performance through fault-tolerant configurations and proactive monitoring is crucial. Identifying and addressing server infrastructure risks, such as single points of failure or end-of-life infrastructure, is another key responsibility.Ensuring continuous communication and feedback regarding escalations to customers is paramount.
