Nasreddine Nabi is set to become the new highest-paid coach in the PSL when he takes over at Kaizer Chiefs. This is his whopping salary!
“In moving to Chiefs, Nabi will improve what will be his monthly gross earnings by figures of about 33,5%. This will take him up to a groan of 40 000 Euros ,”Therefore, Nabi will overtake Mamelodi Sundowns head coach Rulani Mokwena as the new highest-paid coach in the PSL. Interestingly, Mokwena gross salary is reported to be just over R600 000.
“Mamelodi Sundowns coach Rhulani Mokwena has a gross monthly salary that has been reported to be in the region of just over R600 000 before bonuses,”Chiefs and Pirates pay their coached hefty salaries, as you can see. Whilst, Orlando Pirates head coach Jose Riveiro is the third highest-paid coach in the PSL. He reported earns way more than Gavin Hunt, who earns way more than the leagues other coaches. Neither salary was disclosed at the time of publication.
Meanwhile, Pirates and Sundowns have the league’s new highest-paid players. Ultimately, this comes after Chiefs star Keagan Dolly and Bonging Zungu R700 000, the two previous top-earners in the PSL, left Naturena and Mayfair. Zungu has officially been released. Furthermore, Dolly is one of four Amakhosi players who have been told they will be released.
