Nasreddine Nabi is nearing a potential move to Naturena, according to. Kaizer Chiefs have reportedly initiated discussions with the Tunisian coach, Nabi. The former Young Africans mentor and the Amakhosi management have been linked since before the start of the recently concluded season. Though initial talks fell through due to Nabi’s demand to bring his own technical staff.Currently, Nabi is enjoying a successful stint with ASFAR Rabat in Morocco’s top flight.
In other news, Kaizer Chiefs veteran goalkeeper Itumeleng Khune has sparked speculation about Rainer Dinkelacker’s future at the club. Dinkelacker, who returned to Naturena at the start of the season, has a long history with the Amakhosi. He first joined Chiefs in 1999 and played a key role in developing goalkeepers like Khune and Brian Baloyi.
After leaving the club post the 2012/2013 PSL season, Dinkelacker was brought back last season due to the departure of Dennis Rudel. Currently serving as a strategic adviser in the goalkeeping department on a one-year deal.With Dinkelacker’s contract nearing its end, Khune’s recent gesture of presenting him with a signed jersey has fueled rumours about his imminent departure.
