Kaizer Chiefs are thought to be close to appointing Nasreddine Nabi as their new coach, but he seems to want two guarantees before signing!
Nabi has emerged as an overwhelming favourite this week and it seems inevitable he’ll be Chiefs coach next season.
Although it seems like the deal is all but done, events between Nabi and Chiefs last season prove otherwise. The two parties were locked in to long and protracted negotiations, which were basically open to the public. With the expectation that they would eventually reach an agreement, everything fell apart. This was after the two camps failed to reach a compromise on one aspect for the deal. It is believed that Nabi’s salary was not a problem, with the coaches final package agreed upon.
