At the start of the pandemic, businesses had to shut and work was scarce for many industries. As it's been slowly getting back and jobs are being posted, Chisholm has found his last of experience hinders him. A job at Irving Shipbuilding would be ideal for Chisholm, which is why he was at the company's career fair on Saturday at the Membertou Trade and Convention Centre.

"It is one factory, one location. You get good pay and you get to go home to your bed each night," Rennie said."You get to go home to your family each night." "If I was a parent with children, I would be encouraging them to go into metal fabrication," Rennie said. The job fair included an information video telling people about Irving Shipbuilding, who help build and maintain navy vessels that aid in keeping the country safe.
