Prajesh Patel has high hopes for his future and intends to be wealthy in retirement
we aim to find out how people in the UK are spending, saving and investing money to meet their costs and achieve their goals.
After university, I joined an investor relations firm, earning £1,000 per month. After nine months, I secured a trainee financial adviser role with a wealth management business, earning £2,000 per month. I plan to buy a two-bedroom flat in east London for around £650,000 in the next two to three years. I would live in one room and rent out the other.
Two of my biggest expenses are travelling and eating out. I can spend between £6,000 to £7,000 on a longer trip abroad.. I love to try new restaurants in London and revisit good ones. I have made a list on Google Maps. I have visited 58 restaurants, and I still need to visit 192! I spend £300 per month on restaurants.
