TV can be 'feast and famine' with regular work not always coming in

Then life threw me somewhat of a curveball. By Friday, I’m delivering numeracy and literacy sessions to one of my primary schools. Sometimes, I’ll even do a TV interview virtually from a classroom over lunch time. How do I manage the peaks and troughs of income in my career? If I’m honest, the privilege of having had savings from my twenties gives me a buffer for leaner times. But this does mean when I earn well from a TV series, I put away substantial portions into my long-term savings.
