Turning Hood Habits into a musical was a long, involved process for Taylor, who began by taking her early draft to the Playwrights Atlantic Resource Centre, and shaping it at their Playwrights Colony retreat with actor/playwright/Ship’s Company Theatre artistic director Richie Wilcox, while getting a first-draft read-through by professional actors.
