The agreement also involves the construction of 22 townhouses, for a total of 442 residential units. The proposal includes walking trails and the construction of 430 metres of public road in the second phase of development. Documents filed with the board show that the citizens are appealing on several grounds, alleging that the intent of the County of Kings Municipal Planning Strategy was not carried out regarding certain aspects of residential policies — including the development agreement policy and comprehensive neighbourhood developments policy — and community engagement policy.
