The Napoli winger is close to joining the Blues on loan for the upcoming season
Everton are closing in on a deal for Jesper Lindstrom. The club has been exploring a move for the attacking midfielder for some time and talks are understood to be progressing with his current club, Napoli. The Blues are looking to secure the 24-year-old on loan for the season. Should their pursuit end in success then it would be the club’s fourth signing of the summer.
Interest in Lindstrom was stepped up as a result and the club is now hopeful talks will result in a deal in the coming days. Lindstrom only signed for Napoli last summer but has been made available following a difficult debut season in Serie A. The Denmark international did not record a league goal or assist, but his opportunities were severely limited as Napoli put up a disastrous title defence.
