Everton transfer news as the Blues agree a deal to sign Napoli attacker Jesper Lindstrom on loan
Everton are closing in on a third summer signing after a deal was agreed with Napoli over the loan of midfielder Jesper Lindstrom, reports suggest. The Blues have been looking to secure the player for the 2024/25 season under Sean Dyche after making a busy start to the window. According to Sky Sports, 24-year-old Lindstrom is readying himself to travel to Merseyside for a medical before completing his temporary move. The Danish international will then switch clubs for the third summer in a row.
The club had made attempts to bring in Newcastle's hotly-rated Yanmkuba Minteh and Hull City ace Jaden Philogene. Both players have instead agreed moves elsewhere whilst Wilfried Gnonta remains a player of interest. Everton have made the most progress with Lindstrom though as he looks set to leave Naples after just 12 months in Italy. The former Brondby academy man left to join Frankfurt in 2021 before being picked up by Napoli after their title win last year.
