and one call each for a motor vehicle accident, water leaking, a mulch stockpile fire and mutual aid provided for a barn fire in the North River Fire Department’s jurisdiction.Firefighters had responded to 160 emergency calls as of Feb. 28, up from 125 calls over the same time period the year before.
