Cape Breton Regional Police is investigating a fatal vehicle-pedestrian collision on Tuesday, Jan. 31. -Saltwire Network FileSYDNEY, N.S. — A 60-year-old woman is dead after a vehicle-pedestrian collision on Terry Way in Membertou on Tuesday.

Cape Breton police responded to the scene between the Cape Breton Regional Hospital and Churchill Drive, where a pedestrian was hit by a vehicle just before 3 p.m.Traffic safety investigators and forensic identification officers attended the scene, and the investigation into the incident is ongoing.
