Another departure at Sundowns

Mamelodi Sundowns have yet another departure looming with Moroccan defender Abdelmounaim Boutouil to become the latest to leave.

Sundowns have already had Brian Onyango, Bongani Zungu, Matias Esquivel, Junior Mendieta, Gaston Sirino, and Thabiso Kutumela making up half of the notable players that have left either on loan or permanently. There have been suggestions of Boutouil leaving two years after arriving on a R6,8 million transfer and it is now just about a done deal.Though Boutouil has been strongly linked with a move back to Moroccan giants Wydad Casablanca o his next move is not a sealed deal with his representatives exploring options especially in the Gulf Region. So far Lucas Ribeiro Costa and Marcelo Allende have been registered and will be joined by Arthur de Oliviera Sales.

Ethiopian striker Abubeker Nasir and Bolivian midfielder Erwin Saavedra remain in the club’s books and can still be registered.
