Some deals take an extended time to reach conclusions. Two former Mamelodi Sundowns players are still training and praying to sign for SuperSport United.
Brian Onyango, together with Sibusiso Vilakazi, are yet to know if they will be wearing United’s blue colours next season. The duo are still training to convince Gavin Hunt they have the quality to help SuperSport next season. According to iDiski Times, Onyango and Vilakazi did not make the pre-season“SuperSport United is yet to make a decision on two former Mamelodi Sundowns, Brian Onyango and Sibusiso Vilakazi,” the report said.
“Johannes, who has previously captained the South African u23 National Team, has established himself in the domestic league, racking up a number of impressive appearances in the Premier Soccer League and domestic cup competitions. The versatile defender will now to get ready for the upcoming season with Masandawana,” the report added.According to Johannes, his Cape Town homeboy Rushwin De Reuck provided insight on playing football for Sundowns.
“I haven’t really spoken with my former teammates. Also I’ve spoken with Jody as well and most of the guys I’ve played with before as well. That’s why I say it doesn’t necessarily need to be someone who comes from SuperSport.
