Sundowns' hand forced, despite good news
Mamelodi Sundowns will have key decisions to make ahead of the start of the new season following the return of Bolivian midfielder Erwin Saavedra .READ | There was widespread belief that Saavedra had moved permanently following his troubles at Sundowns, where he struggled to make an impact during the first two years that he spent at the club.
Upon arriving back at Sundowns, Saavedra will join Brazilian pair Arthur de Oliviera Sales and Lucas Ribeiro Costa, along with Marcelo Allende , Matias Esquivel , Moroccan defender Abdelmounaim Boutouil and Ethiopian striker Abubeker Nasir as the foreign players on the club’s books. According to the PSL rules, only five players can be registered with non-South African documentation.
