Two new Fire Sticks have been added to Amazon's stock of home tech products
Amazon has announced a shiny new range of devices for shoppers to upgrade their homes, including a huge upgrade to the Fire TV Stick. Once plugged into your TV, it could completely change the way you find something to watch.
And it's all down to the way you search for your favourite programme, series or film as Amazon takes steps to streamline the way users search for something to watch, as it brings its popular voice-assistant Alexa over to the plug-in Fire Stick range.You will now be able to start a conversation with Alexa to find a blockbuster film or perfect Friday night watch, whilst being given recommendations based on your history.
The Fire TV Stick 4K Max As the more expensive model out of the two new sticks, the 4K Max version has an upgraded processor and is the first accessory to come with the Fire TV Ambient Experience. This lets you transform your TV into a smart home hub, with Sticky Notes for family members or flatmates stuck on-screen, calendars and reminders whenever you're not watching.
The Fire TV Stick 4K Similar to the 4K Max model this cheaper alternative is fitted with Wi-Fi 6 support and features an updated processor, although its 1.7GHZ compared to the 2.0 GHZ on the Max - still 30% more powerful than last year's model.
