Three fire engines were called to the scene in the early hours of this morning
This morning Merseyside Fire and Rescue were called to Barrington Road in Wavertree at 1.28am after reports that a house on the street had caught fire. Emergency services rushed to the scene and three fire engines fought the blaze.
Footage captured by a neighbour Nayana Pnicker shows the extent of the blaze as large plumes of smoke can be seen spilling out of a bedroom window. The area around the window has also turned black and flashing lights can be seen coming down the road. A spokesperson for Merseyside Police said: “Merseyside Fire & Rescue Service attended an incident on Barrington Road, L15 in the early hours of Tuesday, 19 September.
