Two frontal boundaries will bring some showers Friday into the first half of the weekend. The last weekend in July is upon us – a long weekend in parts of our region.
On the topic of rain, a warm front is crossing the Maritimes region and will move into Newfoundland and Labrador Saturday. A trailing cold front follows on Saturday and should keep a chance of showers and risk of thunderstorms in place for part of the day. However, some models have a surge of moisture feeding into the front. If that materializes, additional rainfall, although still not much, is possible over Nova Scotia, eastern Newfoundland, and possibly parts of Prince Edward Island and southern New Brunswick.
Temperatures heading through the first week of August are expected to remain warm to what some might consider hot.
