Eight Island runners hit qualifying times for the Boston Marathon during the P.E.I. Marathon on Oct. 15, including Sandra Cottreau and Francis Fagan of Charlottetown.Additionally, Darren Chaisson of Souris, Scott Clark of Summerside, Bobbi-Jean Boylan of Coleman and Martha Sark of Rocky Point hit qualifying times.
In total, 24 runners from Canada and the U.S. qualified for the Boston Marathon during the Island race.
