Marlene Ramsay of Dunstaffnage, P.E.I. has won a $500,000 Daily Grand second prize. ContributedCHARLOTTETOWN, P.E.I. — Marlene Ramsay of Dunstaffnage, P.E.I. was taken aback when her husband told her to check her lottery tickets after he received an email notification about a win.
“My husband texted me that day and said, ‘Check your tickets.’ Then, not one minute later, he called and said, ‘Check your tickets,’ again,” Ramsay said. “I said, ‘I don’t see anything, there’s nothing here,’ and he said ’Well, it says we won something so you’d better look a little harder.”Ramsay said she was even more surprised when she found a notification on her alc.ca account about a $500,000 second prize win in the Oct. 20 Daily Grand draw.Congratulations to Marlene of Dunstaffnage, P.E.I. who won the Daily GRAND second prize of $500,000!
