Looking ahead to 2027, the SA20 will return to its familiar January window, running from 9 January to 14 February, offering fans a more relaxed schedule with fewer weekday fixtures. This season will also coincide with a massive year for South African cricket, as the country co-hosts the ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup in October and November. In 2028, Season 6 of the SA20 will take place from 9 January to 13 February, continuing the tradition of summer T20 cricket in South Africa.
