Sean Kingston and his mom arrested on multimillion-dollar theft and fraud charges

Beautiful Girls singer Sean Kingston and his mother, Janice Turner, have been arrested on multiple charges of fraud and theft.

Sean was performing in California at the time of the raid and was taken into custody after his show.The raid and arrests come two months after Ver Ver Entertainment, a supplier of entertainment and event technology, sued the rapper for breach of contract, claiming he'd not paid them for goods, including a colossal 232-inch TV and sound system, worth about R2,8 million, which was installed at his Florida home.

The singer also promised Ver Ver Entertainment that he and Justin would do promotional work for them, according to the documents, but the company found that Sean had “no ongoing working” relationship with Justin.Sean is serving currently a two-year probationary sentence for trafficking stolen property.

In 2016 and 2022, Sean was also accused of taking $301,500 in jewellery, as well as luxury watches worth more than $1 million without payment to the company.
