Zwane was full of praise for the 20-year-old midfielder who impressed on his first run out for the club in their 3-1 win against Stellenbosch over the weekend.
Now, it appears that Zwane’s inroads to the first team could open the doors for a number of his DStv Diski Challenge teammates, who missed out on being selected after being called up to the junior national teams. “We have brought in one of the youngsters from the development, Samkelo Zwane, for his second camp. We wanted to bring in more from there but most of the players we had in mind recently got a national team call-up and they are doing international duty, but we are happy for them because international experience will help them grow and when they return, they will come back better,” he told the club’s media department.
