Kaizer Chiefs coach Arthur Zwane has explained why three-goal hero Bonfils-Caleb Bimenyimana was substituted against Stellenbosch FC.
As Amakhosi defeated Stellies 3-1 at the DHL Stadium on Sunday afternoon, Bimenyimana was the hero for the visitors as he converted all three penalties that were awarded by referee Tshidiso Maruping on the day.The Burundian netted deep into referee’s optional time in the first half, then four minutes into the second half, as well as in the 56th minute to become the first player to score a hat-trick of penalties in the PSL era.

“For Caleb, we had to take him out that time because he was already on a yellow. By nature he is aggressive, once you keep him on the field anything can happen. He’s already scored three goals, what more do you expect from him because keeping him on the field is a bit risky,” said Zwane.“We could have kept him if he didn’t get a yellow card but unfortunately, we couldn’t risk, because we need him for the next game again.
